Straits Metal Technology places great emphasis on quality control. Our quality control system is set up with the aim of supplying solder products with guaranteed reliability. Every batch of solder alloy is determined by modern analytical machines and techniques.

Our quality control personnel will confirm that the solder conforms to, if not exceeds, all international, military, government and customer's specifications prior to issuing the batch number to each lot of solder. This batch number will appear not only on the test record but also on each and every shipping carton.

The batch number will determine the manufacturing date and the handling personnel. In addition, the test records will be retained in our library on a permanent basis and a sample of each batch of solder manufactured for a considerable period of time. This will enable us to retrieve the technical specifications when required by our customers.
